Relaxing Sicilian day
In the morning, during the hottest hours of the day the best thing to do is go to one of the beautiful beaches around you, like the clear beach of San Lorenzo where you can rent large and comfortable sunbeds and the seaside is crystal clear. There you will enjoy the beauty of Sicilian coasts and you will relax and sunbathe a lot. For lunch you can order something in the beach club where you are or in some restaurant nearby trying the best local specialities.
When the sun goes down it’s the time for you to dedicate yourself to the discovery of the cities and villages to know deeply how Sicily is. If you are looking at typical seaside villages you cannot miss Marzamemi, Ortigia or Cefalù which are little but very picturesque. There you should abandon every means of transport you have in favor of long walks around the alleyways of the seaside villages.

If you are in Ortigia at lunchtime you should definitely go to the marketplace and try the local sandwiches made by the dairies.
Catania
One of the pillars of Sicilian history, culture and richness is Catania. A city which never ceases to amaze, with a rich historic center which testify a relevant past. Catania never sleeps and if you want to live a full day there we suggest you start with the littoral side before enjoying the city’s nightlife. In the morning you can take a swim in Aci Trezza or Aci Castello, small seaside villages but very peculiar and near Catania. Later, you can have lunch in one of the many fish restaurants focused on local fish.
Then, during the evening you can move to Catania and take a walk in via Etnea, among the longest and most important streets of the city, admiring Villa Bellini and afterwards the beautiful Piazza Università and Piazza Duomo, where you can find the famous elephant. While walking you have to taste the peculiarity of Catania, what is here called tavola calda and above all you have to try the Arancini. If you want to live a bit of Catania’s nightlife you should go to the area of the Fish market, where you will find many different activities where you can eat, drink and experience the perfect Sicilian atmosphere.

Mount Etna
Mount Etna is the treasure of this island, an impressive presence which overlooks parts of eastern side Sicily. On the volcano you can do many different activities, based on your level of training and your preferences. If you want to discover it slowly, enjoying the quiet and peace of the context, you can hike on the slopes or take a walk with a professional and specialized tour guide. If instead you want something more adrenalinic and exciting, you can also rent a quad or go for a walk with the alpacas. A unique place discovered through exclusive experiences.
Once you have finished your excursion, to round off you can stop in one of the mountain huts you will find and try the local specialties and wines.

Marzamemi
For the ones who live in our luxury villas or holiday houses near Marzamemi is perfect, but we also suggest this day to those who stay a bit further than Siracusa.
In the morning you can take a swim in the beach of San Lorenzo or in Eloro beach, both served areas with wonderful coasts. In the afternoon you can discover an almost secret and exclusive corner of Sicily: the Vendicari Nature Reserve with its beautiful Tonnara. Here you will find a quiet place with spots dedicated to birdwatching, wild nature and finally the Tonnara and the Sveva Tower. If you go there during the sunset you will admire an unforgettable view, with colors getting warmer and brightening the landscape. Later, if you want to stay until evening you can then go for dinner in Noto and take a walk through the alleys.

Visiting the 7 pearls of the Tirrean sea in a day can be possible, and it will be an unforgettable experience. What we suggest you to have is an entire boat trip, to discover and admire them from the sea entering also in the beautiful secret caves. You can take a dip in the cleanest waters surrounded by a unique landscape. You can have a wide choice of excursions and you can also decide to see some of the 7 islands but having the possibility to get off the boat and visit them from the inside.
