In the Natural Reserve of Vendicari, there is a beautiful sandy coast protected from the sea currents by two rocky capes.
The result is an always calm and crystal-clear sea with wonderful sea beds, that’s why it was awarded by Legambiente as “the most beautiful beach in Italy” in 2005. To reach Calamosche you have to get to the parking area and go down a path of about one kilometer. It will be a tiny sacrifice but we assure you that it is worth it.
Lakes of Marinello (ME)
A unique place which seems like a strip of sand on Mar Tirreno. Here brackish lakes, beaches, and flora create together a beautiful landscape topped by the Sanctuary of Tindari and surrounded by Aeolian islands.
A not so popular destination which allows a more exclusive and reserved experience.
You can get there on foot or through a boat which, starting from Oliveri, takes you to the lakes while admiring the panorama from the sea.
Torre Salsa (AG)
Near to the famous Scala dei Turchi, Torre Salsa is a wonderful natural reserve in the spirit of wildness, peace and retreat. The oasis is managed and protected by the WWF who saved it from the concreting by purchasing 8 hectares of its land. The name came from an ancient watchtower called Torre Salsa in the heart of the coast.
This is one of the most interesting areas of Sicily for its crystal clear sea and the seabeds rich in flora and fauna.
Spiaggia di Bazzina (Alicudi)
An experience that will change your journey in Sicily. Aside from the beauty and the wonder of the coastline and the sea, Bazzina beach is unique for the whole experience.
It can be reached only by boat, that you can rent to have fun and be independent, or you can ask local fishermen to take you there.
Once you reach the beach you will find yourself between sea and mountain, where you can relax and retreat yourself enjoying the peace and the wildness of Alicudi.
